How Slotozen Protects Your Data

A plain-language look at what we collect, why we need it, and how KYC, payment and cookie data are handled for your Slotozen account.

Data Handling at Slotozen

Last updated: September 30, 2026

This page goes beyond a summary. It sets out exactly what personal data we collect at each stage of your time with Slotozen, from registration through to withdrawal, and how that data is stored, used and eventually deleted.

What We Collect and When

We collect information in layers, not all at once. At registration we ask for your name, date of birth, email, mobile number and a password. We do this to confirm you are 18 or over and to set up your AUD account. We do not need your date of birth for marketing purposes. It exists in our systems purely as an age and identity check.

Once you make your first deposit or request a withdrawal, a second layer of data comes into play: your chosen payment method. If you deposit via PayID or POLi, we receive confirmation of the transaction from the payment rail, including the linked bank account reference, but we do not store your online banking password or PIN. Card payments (Visa, Mastercard) are processed through payment gateways that mask the majority of your card number in our systems. If you use Bitcoin or Tether, we log wallet addresses and transaction hashes relevant to your deposit or payout, not your private keys.

KYC: Why We Ask and What We Check

Know Your Customer (KYC) checks are standard practice across regulated and unregulated online casinos serving the Australian market, and Slotozen applies them before larger withdrawals or when account activity looks unusual. Typically this means we ask for a photo ID (driver licence or passport) and, sometimes, a proof of address such as a recent utility bill or bank statement. For Neosurf or crypto-funded accounts, we may also ask you to confirm ownership of the wallet or voucher used.

KYC documents are reviewed by our verification team and stored only for as long as required to satisfy anti-fraud obligations and resolve any payment disputes. We do not sell or share KYC documents with advertisers. Access inside Slotozen is restricted to staff who need it for compliance, support or fraud prevention.

Cookies and Session Data

Slotozen uses cookies for three broad purposes: keeping you logged in securely, remembering preferences like sound settings or last-played pokies, and understanding which pages and promotions are actually used so we can improve the site. We do not use cookies to profile you for third-party advertising networks outside of standard analytics.

  • Essential cookies: session login, cashier security checks, fraud detection signals.
  • Preference cookies: display settings, favourite games, last-visited lobby (pokies or live casino).
  • Analytics cookies: aggregated data on page visits and feature use, viewed in de-identified form wherever practical.
  • Marketing cookies: used only if you have not opted out, to show relevant promotions rather than generic ones.

You can control cookies through your browser settings at any time. Blocking essential cookies may stop you from staying logged in or completing a deposit, so we recommend allowing those at minimum while browsing Slotozen.

Support Interactions and Communication Records

When you contact our AU support team by live chat or email, we keep a record of that conversation. This helps us pick up where a previous agent left off if you write in again about the same withdrawal or bonus query, and it lets us review support quality internally. We do not record phone calls unless you are told so at the start of the call.

Marketing emails and SMS about promotions are opt-in. You can unsubscribe from any promotional message using the link or instructions provided, without affecting your ability to log in and play or to receive account-critical emails such as withdrawal confirmations.

Who Can See Your Data

Data is shared only where it is needed to run the account or process a payment: payment processors handling PayID, POLi, card or crypto transactions, KYC verification providers checking submitted documents, and fraud-prevention tools that flag suspicious account patterns. We do not sell player data to unrelated third parties for resale or generic advertising lists.

Data Security and Deletion Requests

Account and payment data sits behind encrypted storage and access controls limited to relevant staff. If you want to close your Slotozen account and ask what personal data we hold, contact support and we will explain what can be deleted immediately and what must be retained temporarily for financial recordkeeping or unresolved disputes.

If gambling has stopped being fun, support is available around the clock through Gambling Help Online on 1800 858 858 or at https://www.gamblinghelponline.org.au/. Data privacy and responsible play sit side by side at Slotozen: protecting your information is only half the job, protecting your wellbeing is the other half.
